PIR sensor stands for Passive Infrared sensor, works as a motion detector sensor. The sensor measures infrared radiations emitting from an object in its view within approximately 10m (actual value is from 5m to 12m). the sensor is made of the pyroelectric sensor, responsible to detect levels of infrared radiation.
