TP5100 One/Two 4.2V and 8.4V Dual Battery Protection Module

TP5100 is 2A switching step-down Lithium Ion 18650 double/single cell battery charging management module. It can charge double 8.4V as well as 4.2V lithium Ion cells. Its small QPN16 package and simple peripheral circuit make it very suitable for high-current charging management applications for high-current charging management applications for portable devices. TP5100 module has built-in input over current, under voltage protection, chip over-temperature protection, battery temperature monitoring, battery reverse connection protection. 

TP5100 has 5V to 18V wide input voltage, dual battery trickle charge into pre-charge, constant current, constant voltage three phases, pre-charge current trickle charge current through an external resistor adjustment, the maximum charge current up to 2A. It uses 400kHz, this switching mode of operation allows it to use smaller peripheral devices and it still keeps a small amount of heat during current charging. 

TP5100 built-in power PMOSFET, anti-backflow circuit, so there is no need to put backflow schottky diode and other peripheral protection.
